Marianne Lambert is a young soprano who seduces as much by her immense talent and stage presence as with her effervescent personality.
CANZONE DI NOTTE
TO attend the virtual launch
FEBRUARY 9 2022
Everything seems possible, under the darkened sky.
Canzone di Notte is a collection of melodies that conjure up hopes and dreams that belong only to the night. They may be enchanting, mysterious, or fragile. Through the colours of bel canto, each aria allows the lyricism of the voice to carry you away, gently rock you, and envelop you. As bel canto is at the base of lyrical vocal technique, it is not surprising that many of the arias performed on this album are often used for voice training. Certain pieces, such as those by Schubert, were in fact composed for this purpose.
Whether from the Baroque, Classical, or Romantic era, all of these songs come together to create beautiful singing, floating under a starry sky. The clear timbre of soprano Marianne Lambert and the whimsical colours of harpist Valérie Milot invite you to contemplate the nighttime. Let your dreams carry you away!
whether the songs are from the Baroque era or composed by Mozart, Gluck, or Rossini. Beautiful singing floating under a stary sky.

"With a feline voice, she exudes infinite happiness which is sometimes combined with the sadness of the passing of time." - Ludwig van Montreal
'' There are lots of sparkling high notes in songs by Delibes, Bizet and Granados, with pianist LeBlanc uncannily matching Lambert's every breath. - cbc.ca
